On Friday, February 24, Fairfax Academy hosted 167 5th graders from Bailey’s Upper Elementary for Move ‘Til You Drop, an annual event aimed at bringing dancers from across the county together and highlighting the future of dance in FCPS for our youngest dancers. Upper level dance students from Fairfax Academy and West Potomac Academy led dance classes in Contemporary, Musical Theater and Hip-Hop.

Ms. Epstein, Bailey’s Upper Elementary Dance Teacher, shares “This is our 7th annual Move ‘Til You Drop (MTYD) event! I am so proud of our 5th grade students for working so hard today! I loved seeing our high school students teach our elementary students–what a wonderful way to inspire the next generation of dancers!”
