Mr. Smith is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received a degree in Photographic Communication, and also obtained a minor in Business.  In addition to teaching photography at the Academy, he also coaches Jiu Jitsu, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), and soccer.  

Mr. Smith loves working with others and sharing his knowledge on subjects.  While working in the photographic industry, he had the pleasure of photographing Hillary Clinton, The Prince of Jordan, several Washington Football team players, and many other household names.  He truly thrives working with his students and showing them the industry-side of the business, and he also loves getting to know each and every one of his students!
